Hello Boudoir Divas!
I just have to say that even though I won’t see my pictures until tomorrow, I have been blown away by the experience. All of you gals that work in the studio are wonderful! You have given me confidence that I didn’t know I had. I have been raving about Marissa, the photography sets, the music playing, the champagne and oh yeah…feeling like a Super Model!!!
Even my mom said that she wished she could have done this when she was younger and I told her she could do it now if she wanted to! I changed my mind about my bachelorette party and want to do a Pin-Up party instead!! My experience was just that great.

My computers have been driving me batty the past week, I literally have gotten nothing done on them. Arg. Luckily, I have had a few photo shoots which has allowed me to divert my attention on to my true love, photography! Imagine that. For being a photographer I sure do spend a lot of time in front of my computer.
We’ve really been trying to step up our game in the studio and be fancy photographers who use even fancier lighting. Today I bought the Photogenic Minispot Spotlight (CL150FS) among many other things on Adorama. I think buying new equipment may just be the best thing ever. I have a lot of Full Shoots coming up (equivalent to a “grand” type package) and I love to try new things and really step up my game. I get bored doing the same thing every time. I plan to use the Spotlight to put flattering light on the face while creating contrasty light with my soft box on the body. We’ll see how it works! -M
We have wonderful news, as with May, our June outlook for boudoir once again has shown that it is a strong enough trend to ward off even this terrible economic down turn. The San Diego studio has reached our June goal of 20 shoots and the month hasn’t even begun! We are thrilled beyond measure and I have to thank the wonderful ladies (Divettes) who work so hard here. CRYSTAL, DEENA and AMANDA, you all rock! Boudoir photography, thank you for being so fabulous, we love you!
