Kimberlee
My name is: Kimberlee West.
I’m married to: my handsome hubby, nicknamed “Prince Eric.” He turned my world upside-down when I reconnected with him a few years ago (we were old friends/acquaintances from college). In the summer of 2011 he asked me to marry him, I moved to live in his city, and in October 2011 we were married! We had a beautiful outdoor ceremony in the forest, overlooking water – it was such a memorable day (go check out the pics!). I am so happy to have found this amazing kind of love, and I’m so thankful that God brought Eric & I together.
I live in: a small town in Washington State! It is VERY different from San Diego, but I do love it. I still travel to San Diego on a regular basis to be a part of the happenings in the studio.

I’m passionate about: my faith in Jesus Christ… making women feel beautiful… and nonprofit organizations that are making a difference in the lives of people living in poverty.
I fell in love with boudoir because: Marissa convinced me that I HAD to fall in love with boudoir (she is very persuasive sometimes). ;) I actually wasn’t sure that I wanted to shoot boudoir, but after my first shoot, I was completely hooked. I was able to see the power that boudoir can have, in giving a woman confidence!
I’ve been shooting boudoir since: 2006.
My favorite thing about my job is: Watching a woman gain a sense of confidence. It is amazing to see a woman’s transformation through the boudoir photography experience.

On my weekends, I love to: relax with my hubby, BBQ with friends, and take a break from work (NO checking email allowed!) I love taking adventures, camping, and exploring new places.
